Sally Kay Founder of Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD)

RLD is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc(Hons), whilst working in Cancer Care. The results appear to support the theory of reflexology. Hagar Basis, (Director of The Reflexology Academy in London) was originally trained by Anthony Porter during the 1980s.

Hagar has been fortunate enough to work on many hundreds of patients presenting a wide variety of disorders. Her particular interest is in the treatment of gynaecological conditions, particularly low thyroid function and associated hormonal disorders such as infertility, endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome.

Hagar provided me with training specifically for Women’s Health, by teaching practical techniques to help support women through the myriad of hormonal changes they encounter during each cyclical change, and the treatment of any dis-ease or discomfort associated with an imbalance, and the easing of conditions present within the gynaecological and the urological systems.

Dr Jesus Mananzanares (Creator of the Manzanares Method – Scientific Reflexology)

Dr. Manzanares was born in Barcelona and graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1982. He specializes in family medicine, integrating homeopathy and reflexology with conventional medicine.

His reflexology research in neuro-physiology at University Hospital Vall D’Hebron and Hospital Sagrado Corazon, Barcelona spans 3 decades and documentation of 70,000 clinical cases.

Dr Manzanares trained me in a scientific approach to reflexology, providing me with techniques for assessing and treating clients in a more clinical way.

I trained with the wonderful Sally Earlam in Maternity Reflexology. She has a wealth of knowledge from her medical background as a qualified nurse for the past 36 years, and has combined these expertise with her 22 years of reflexology, to create an extremely thorough and inspiring Maternity Reflexology Course.

She also currently works part time for the Association of Reflexologist (AoR) as their Maternity Specialist and Head of Training and Education.

Barbara Scott MBRA, MARR, MAR Founder and chair of the ARR

Barbara Scott is Chair of The Association of Reproductive Reflexologists, founder of Seren Natural Fertility and author of Reflexology for Fertility.

In 2017, she was awarded ‘Complementary Therapist of the Year’ by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and has recently been nominated for an ‘Innovation in Reflexology’ award by the Association of Reflexologists for her work in Reproductive Reflexology.

Barbara speaks and lectures globally on her integrative approach to supporting couples having difficulties conceiving. Alongside her own busy clinics, she also trains practitioners in providing this integrative approach to fertility healthcare and well-being.

Her wealth of knowledge, patient-centred and integrative approach from the past 20 years, has provided me with an in-depth understanding and expertise to support both men & women during assisted and natural conception.

Marie Duggan ATL, I.I.H.H.T, I.C.H.T, CST, Reiki Master & CNHC and Founder of Butterfly Touch Therapies

Marie Duggan's expertise is within complementary therapies and cancer care. Her knowledge and experience came from the James Cook University Hospital in the UK. She worked hand in hand with the Oncology Department at the hospital, where complementary therapies worked alongside conventional treatments. She provided treatments that offered support to patients and carers, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. Her role included representing the benefits, standards, guidelines and protocols for the use of Reflexology and Reiki in cancer care. Her knowledge and experience has been passed down through her course showing practitioners how to adapt their practice and work within an integrated medicine model
